Insurance: Coverage Over Cost

When evaluating or purchasing insurance, coverage over cost should be closely considered. All insurance policies aren't created equally. I have fallen into the idea of "WOW, you saved me money!!". Behind that savings, there can be a great sacrifice in the coverage.

The question is, Do I get a rental car for a covered loss? Do I get my roof replaced after a storm? Or even, I have lost my wedding ring so will insurance cover my loss? My husband trailers the lawn mower to mow my parents yard. Will it be covered on the trailer or at my parents' home?

These are all common question that not every policy will cover. When shopping or reviewing coverage it is important to look at the details beyond the price.
